WHITEHORSE – Unions representing federal government workers from departments such as the Canada Revenue Agency, Veterans Affairs, and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada indicate they are prepared to walk off the job in support of contract negotiations. In light of this developing situation, the Yukon government needs to tell Yukoners how this will affect the services many rely on.

Liberal Government Ordered to Produce Papers Related to Safe at Home Project

WHITEHORSE – On Wednesday, the Yukon Legislative Assembly unanimously passed a motion ordering the Production of Papers related to the Safe at Home project on 4th Avenue in downtown Whitehorse. The motion is a binding order of the Legislative Assembly and, unlike an ordinary motion, the government can be found in contempt for failing to comply.

Yukon Party Motion Seeks Yukon-wide Celebrations for 125th Anniversary
