Linda Benoit
Linda Benoit is a born and raised Yukoner who spent her early years in the former mining town of Faro.
She brings a wealth of experience in both the private and political sectors. Over the past six years, Linda has worked at a local construction company as a finance and health and safety manager, while also running her own part-time bookkeeping business. Prior to that, she co-owned a local IT company and served in the hospitality sector. She has extensive behind-the-scenes political experience, having worked in the cabinet offices of both former Yukon Party Premiers Dennis Fentie and Darrell Pasloski, as well as in executive roles within the party itself.
Linda is passionate about the Yukon and her community. She is a dedicated volunteer who currently serves as the treasurer for the Yukon Contractors’ Association and the national organization Equal Voice. She has also volunteered for many organizations, including the Youth of Today Society, Yukon Women in Trades and Technology, the Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion, and the Canadian Coalition of Women in Science, Engineering, Trades and Technology.
She sees representing Yukoners in the Yukon Legislative Assembly as a natural next step in serving her community, in all the work she does she hears recurring concerns about housing and the cost of living, contracting, construction and building challenges, energy, our mining industry, health care and education.
Linda is proud to join Currie Dixon and the rest of the Yukon Party team as they work together to make the Yukon a better place to live and raise a family.
