Marsh Lake-Mount Lorne-Golden Horn

Jen Gehmair -

Born and raised in the Yukon, Jen Gehmair is an experienced public service executive with more than a decade of senior leadership and over two decades of experience across the Yukon government. Most recently, she served as Assistant Deputy Minister in the Department of Health and Social Services, where she provided strategic oversight of complex social programs and championed integrated, community-driven approaches to housing, wellness, and service delivery for Yukoners.

She is widely recognized for her collaborative leadership style and her commitment to fostering trust-based relationships with all levels of government, Indigenous organizations, community partners, and federal counterparts.

Over the past decade, she has trained and served as a Marsh Lake Emergency Medical Responder and supervisor. She also served as a member of both the Marsh Lake Community Association Board and the Marsh Lake Emergency Services Board.

Jen and her husband, Noah, live at Marsh Lake where they are raising their three daughters. Together, they are raising a blended family with two grown step-children who have also built their lives and careers in the territory.

About Mount Lorne-Southern Lakes

Marsh Lake-Mount Lorne-Golden Horn includes the communities of Marsh Lake, Little Squanga, Mount Lorne, Golden Horn, the Carcross Cutoff area, Annie Lake Road, Lewes Lake, and the Robinson subdivision. It is bordered by the ridings of Riverdale North, Riverdale South, Copperbelt South, Porter Creek South, Southern Lakes, Kluane, and Lake Laberge. This is the smallest electoral district outside of Whitehorse at 4,460 km².
