Cory Bellmore -
Cory Bellmore was born in Watson Lake and raised in Carmacks. She is a Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation citizen, and every day she appreciates the opportunity to raise her three children in her traditional territory, learning and living culture and traditional values.
Bellmore graduated with a Commerce Degree from the University of Calgary in 2001 and is currently the Director of Finance and Administration with her First Nation, as well as a two-term Village of Carmacks councillor. Previously, she has served as Chief Administrative Officer of the Village of Carmack and Dawson City. In 2017, she was elected the first Northern Board Representative of the Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators. In 2022, she became the first Northern representative and First Nation president of the board.
Bellmore is also involved in the business community as a former director of the Carmacks Development Corporation for over 20 years. She is currently a director on the Carmacks Hotel Board, which oversees the Carmacks Hotel complex. Her involvement with several community boards and committees over the years includes chair of the Tantalus School Council and treasurer for the Pelly-Carmacks Training Trust Fund.

About Mayo-Tatchun
Mayo-Tatchun includes the communities of Mayo, Carmacks, Little Salmon, Pelly Crossing, Keno, Elsa, Stewart Crossing, Fort Selkirk, Drury Creek, and Silver Trails. It is the largest electoral district in the Yukon at 129,275 km². It is bordered by the districts of Vuntut Gwitchin, Klondike, Kluane, Lake Laberge, and Watson Lake-Ross River-Faro.
