WHITEHORSE – Laura Lang will represent the Yukon Party in the riding of Whitehorse West in the 2025 territorial election, which must be called on or before October 3. Party members in Whitehorse West picked Lang at a nomination meeting held on Thursday evening, August 28.

The married mother of five served on the École Whitehorse Elementary School Council for 15 years. She has been actively involved in the community through several sports and other organizations.
“I would like to thank Natalie Taylor for putting her name forward to seek the nomination in Whitehorse West,” said Lang. “Now that I am officially the candidate, I will be engaging directly with residents in the riding ahead of the territorial election. I am excited to join Currie Dixon’s Yukon Party team as we work to bring change to the territory.”
